What is Night Fall ?

What is nightfall?

August 11, 2023, by Dr Samreen Asad

If it’s nighttime or wetdreams,

Nightfall or wet dreams happen to a lot of guys, especially when they are young. This disease is marked by uncontrollable urination at night or early in the morning while sleeping.

Most of the time, young guys don’t understand why night falls, and it can be embarrassing to talk about it with their parents or with their peers.

The number of times these nighttime emissions happen varies from person to person. Most men only have this problem when they are teenagers, but a few may have it their whole lives. So, as you can see, this condition is very common and usually nothing to worry about unless it happens very often and lasts for a long time.

How to make it so that it doesn’t get dark as often

Nightfall can happen less often if you work out daily and avoid spicy foods. Studies have shown that testosterone-based drugs can make nightfall worse, so if you have nightfall, try to stay away from them.

Here are a few more things you can do to stop nightfall from happening.

  • You should start running or walking quickly for at least 30 minutes a day.
  • You should not drink anything for at least two hours before going to bed.
  • You should go to the toilet just before bed.
  • You shouldn’t watch porn or sexual chats, etc., and if you’re hooked on porn, you need to stop wanting to watch it.
  • Start listening to music that calms your mind and makes you feel better, like meditation.
  • You should start reading good books at the right time to keep your mind calm so you can sleep well.
  • If nightfall happens, they shouldn’t worry about this, because if they keep thinking about it or are afraid of it when they’re sleeping, it’s more likely to happen again.
  • You should try to avoid diarrhoea, which is sometimes caused by an upset stomach.
  • If someone usually drinks milk at night, they should drink it in the evening instead.
  • Nightfall can also be controlled by doing Kegel exercises.
  • Before you start or stop taking your medications, talk to your doctor or a trained professional, like a sexologist. Never try to treat yourself.
  • Most guys will have this problem at some point in their lives, so don’t feel bad about it. Talk to your doctor openly about it, and he will be able to help you find the right treatment (if needed).
  • There’s no need to worry too much about it because nightfall problems are easy to fix in almost all cases.
